Github: Sidebar code

Duzz Wordspace sidebar menu

The Duzz WordPress plugin automates several processes upon its activation, including creating a new sidebar menu named “Duzz Sidebar”, registering custom post types, and setting up default company information.

Duzz Sidebar Menu

Upon activating the Duzz plugin, a sidebar menu named “Duzz Sidebar” is automatically registered and its location is set to “Duzz Sidebar” as all WordPress menus have a registered name and a registered location. Duzz automatically sets all of this on activation for the custom Duzz sidebar as you will see within the Duzz Workspace, so these instructions are only for customizing the menu.

Customizing Sidebar Menu

  1. Activate the Duzz plugin.
  2. Go to your WordPress Admin Dashboard.
  3. Navigate to Appearance > Menus.
  4. Find the menu titled “Sidebar Menu”.
  5. Click on the “Manage Locations” tab at the top.
  6. You can re-assign the “Sidebar Menu” to a new location other than the “Duzz Sidebar” location. Or you can add another/additional location for the “Sidebar Menu”. Your theme may create a mobile menu or other sidebar locations.
  7. You can add new pages to your Duzz Sidebar Menu. Maybe you want to add a new list page where you list users or specific project types. You can add these pages within the sidebar by going through the ‘Pages’ section to find the page and then click ‘Add to Menu’.
